Commissioning a hand-painted icon is a personal and meaningful process.
Each icon is created in the traditional technique of Byzantine icon painting using natural pigments and gold leaf.
Together we select the subject of the icon based on traditional models and reference images. We then determine the size, style, completion time and final price.
The order is confirmed by completing the order form.
For commissions above 3000 PLN, a 25% deposit is required.
The minimum completion time for a commissioned icon is approximately 2–3 months, depending on the size and complexity of the work.
Each icon includes a hanger for wall display and a short written description. A decorative dedication can also be added upon request.
Upon request it is possible to:
receive a sketch of the icon for approval
follow the progress of the work through photos
receive photographic documentation of the creation process
see a photo of the finished icon before shipping
Icons can be shipped internationally or collected personally in Łódź, Poland, by prior arrangement.
